Our Office Flooded

Hey team,

We had some flooding in our office this morning due to a leak in the men's bathroom. The DSBC staff did an amazing job responding quickly—they got things salvaged and called the right people to assess the damage right away.

We also want to give a huge thank you to Diane Bradley, John Toolis, and Jeff Wine, who jumped in at a moment's notice to help pack up and move everything to the Student Center. Your help was invaluable, and we're grateful.

The good news: the damage isn't as bad as we initially feared. We'll need to replace the carpet and some drywall, which means the office space will be disrupted for hopefully just a few weeks while repairs are underway.

Please note: We will adjust some of our facility use during as we repair the office. For instance, we intend to host Wednesday Night Student Ministry events in the Worship Center. If you have questions about facility use, please email lisa@dsbc.church.

As we work through this, please pray with us for favor with our insurance company and the vendors we're working with.  Also we appreciate your grace as our response times might be a bit slower than usual as we manage this disruption.

Thank you for your partnership in ministry!
