Another Flood

Dear Desert Springs Family,
Last month, I shared that we had experienced flooding in Building A. Sadly, over the weekend, the building flooded again, and this time the water affected the entire building.
This week, our staff is moving offices into temporary locations while the remediation team dries out the building and begins the restoration process. The remediation and construction crews are working diligently to ensure that Building A is safe, healthy, and hospitable as soon as possible.
We do not yet have a firm timeline yet, but we expect construction to continue at least through September. During the next several weeks, room availability across our campus will be extremely limited. The following spaces are currently unavailable:
- Meeting Room A
- Student Center
- Kitchen
- Nursery and Toddler Rooms
- Building A offices
- Student Center restrooms
We have temporarily moved some staff offices to the band room behind the Worship Center and to the Oasis Room in the two-story building. Our staff is working diligently to continue serving our congregation during this disruption, but you may experience longer-than-usual response times. Thanks for your patience with us!
Please pray for the remediation and construction crews as they work to restore Building A. Pray for their safety, wisdom, and endurance, and that the work can be completed thoroughly and without further complications.
I am so thankful for your partnership in ministry, and for your flexibility and patience as we navigate this unexpected season.
We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.
Jesus loves you so much!
Pastor Caleb
